transduktor

Transduktor is an audio/visual installation consisting of an long Plexiglas box hanging suspended from the ceiling. The box is filled with fog while a projector, mounted inside, projects continuously changing generative patterns and sequences. With the fog acting as a scatterer, the light is seemingly captured as a three dimensional sculptural object and attention is drawn away from the generating imagery towards its intricate physical manifestation. The accompanying sounds enforce the tension between the dense atmosphere inside the box and the surrounding open space.
